Heat Spy can be used
for single-point calibration verification and checking of thermal imaging
cameras and point infrared thermometers. With an accuracy of ±0.3°F (0.2°C), the
portable calibration black body will confirm whether a device is within
tolerance at ambient, and users can calculate the correction for zero error if
needed. The black body provides the traceability needed for infrared
instruments to maintain a quality control system and eliminates the need for returning
thermal imaging cameras and infrared thermometers for recalibration.
