Nozzles for Spray
Dryers

Nozzle insertion system for spray dryers allows operators to adjust the direction of the atomized cloud and nozzle during plant operation. The nozzles are placed on short, lightweight lances fitted into the side of the air disperser at the top of the drying chamber. The design encourages operators to adjust the nozzle position to achieve the required powder properties even while the dryer is operating at full capacity. Previous nozzle designs required shutting down the dryer during adjustments.
