Fifty years ago, a small coil operation was started in a barn just outside the city limits of Grenada, Miss. It employed around 15 people and produced a simple line of heat exchangers for the residential air conditioning market. It was a meager beginning by today’s standards, but it was a beginning. And it was the birth of a company that today is known as Outokumpu Heatcraft.

Over the years, Outokumpu Heatcraft has grown by leaps and bounds in both product and presence. We’ve expanded our product offerings to accommodate nearly any application, from traditional HVACR to industrial to telecommunications to transportation. We’ve increased our manufacturing capacity to produce an average of 21,000 custom coils each, every day.

We’ve focused on the continuous improvement of our engineering and technical resources through research and development programs and advanced coil-selection software. And, we’ve engaged in a series of strategic acquisitions and start-up operations that have yielded seven manufacturing facilities.

As a result, we are well positioned to give our customers the very best in heat transfer products and services -- no matter what time zone they may call home.
