What is a good reference book containing formulas for calculating required heat loads? For instance, we want to heat parts to 25°F over ambient. I would like to be able to calculate how many BTUs are required to do this. - B.R

"Handbook of Electrical Heating for Industry" by C. James Erickson will help you calculate heating loads and provide much more information in the field of electrical heating. It can be ordered from IEEE Press Marketing, PO Box 1331, 445 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ 08855-1331 or fax (908) 981-8062. - C.J. Erickson, (302) 737-5547.
