I have a process currently using forced heated air. The heat source is approximately 1 to 5" from the product. I would like to evolve to a radiant heat system that would cover a 2 to 4" dia. area. The infrared system could be thermostat or variac controlled, but it needs to be in the 500 to 1,000oF (260 to 538oC) range. Who can do this? -- D.H.

I have several options for the radiant heat system. De-pending on the size of the product, we can tailor any size system around the product. The method would be simply to use quartz tube, straight, bent or coiled with the sized element inside. -- Robert Shutler, Lufran Inc., (330) 655-9797, lufran@ix.netcom.com
