Gas-fired oven was manufactured to preheat tubes ranging from 6 to 46' at 350°F (177°C) for the oil industry. The oven has a 47' by 12' by 9" chamber rated for 500°F (260°C) max. The unit is used to preheat the inside of 25,800 lb of steel tubes per hour from 70 to 350°F (21 to 177°C). This rate is based on a conveyor speed of 4"/min with 430 lb tubes loaded single file on 4" centers. The oven has a chain-style conveyor with ten strands of carbon steel chain spaced across the width on approximately 60" centers.
