Corr-Paint CP2050 is used to protect steel components and structures in chemical processing and power generation plants for applications to 400°F (204°C). The two-part, 100 percent solids, corrosion-resistant system provides adhesion to marginally prepared metal surfaces. The system is mixed in a 1:1 ratio by weight to a thick paste; it is applied using a trowel or spatula. It sets and cures fully at room temperature in 24 hr, or it can be heat cured at 175°F (79°C) for 4 hr to reduce set time.
