On March 18-20, Eclipse, Rockford, Ill., offers a three-day accelerated course that includes combustion theory, safety standards, troubleshooting, component functions, equipment adjustments and hands-on burner operation. The curriculum includes combustion fundamentals, a condensed course covering general nomenclature and basic combustion formulae. It includes demonstrations of basic principles. The course also will include an in-depth training course that details the selection and operation of all types of combustion systems, including sealed burners, packaged burners, recuperators, gas and air mixers, air control valves, gas control valves, blowers and gas boosters, and controls and flame monitoring.
A plant tour and lab demonstrations allow workshop participants to see combustion equipment under construction in a modern, computer-controlled manufacturing plant, and operational equipment in Eclipse’s combustion laboratory.
