Melt-pressure transmitters for high temperature melt-sensing applications are designed for applications up to 1,000oF (538oC). K-Series is suitable for high temperature applications such as medical tubing and other processes using high-temperature engineered resins. Transmitter uses NaK (sodium potassium) as the pressure transmission medium, which satisfies RoHs requirements for environmental safety. The company's “GTP” coating material is applied to its sensing tip. The coating lowers the coefficient of friction and resists abrasive and corrosive chemical agents as well as high temperatures.
