“Many of the companies that have typically exhibited at finishing industry events in the past have expressed an interest in continuing to offer a trade show and educational conference that encompasses all finishing technologies,” said Anne Goyer, president of Goyer Management said. “With the decision recently conveyed to us that the Coating show would not be held in 2007, we believed the demand from both exhibitors and attendees is strong enough to justify the launch of this new event.”
The executive committee of the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI), Cincinnati, has agreed to be a major sponsor of the event. CCAI will assist in the development and coordination of the technical conference, marketing and promotion, and CCAI corporate members will be eligible for a reduced cost of exhibiting.
Finish '07 will be focused on the needs of end-users of all industrial finishing technologies, including liquid coatings, powder coatings, electrocoat, UV-curable coatings and plating, as well as the other technologies used by those end users such as cleaning and pretreatment, material handling, and curing of the finished coating.
