Battery-powered Tempalert fromKalesteadsenses and provides visual and audible warning of critical temperature deviations from a user-defined level. The device makes close inspection of digital displays unnecessary. Current temperature level is continuously displayed by green, red and amber LEDs that indicate whether the actual process temperature is within, above or below the user-specified level. Lamps can be backed up by an audible alarm delivering an 85 dB output. The indicator measures 4.25 x 2.5 x 1" and employs a Type K or T thermocouple or 100 ohm platinum resistance sensor.
