3-Stage Oven System

Designed for a coating company, electric infrared system incorporates three ovens: one after each coating step, including base coat, top coat and splatter coat. The first two ovens are 44" long flash ovens that each uses 21 kW of infrared heat that peaks at 100 to 125oF (38 to 52oC). A bank of heaters on one side and reflective material on the other recycle the heat and decrease exposure time to 45 sec. The final dry-off oven temperature peaks at 200 to 225oF (93 to 107oC) using 126 kW of infrared heat. Product cures at a 2 min 30 sec exposure time in an 11' long oven.
