Lanly Co., Cleveland, launched a new food systems division and appointed Michael Steinbaecher to manage its food systems sales and coordinate new product development. Steinbaecher has 26 years of food industry experience, which complements Lanly's reputation as a manufacturer of heat processing equipment for the snack food industry.
The food systems division will focus on additional food industry markets. "Mike's experience strongly complements the technology developed at Lanly during its more than 60-year history of delivering heat processing equipment," said Gary Brown, director of sales and marketing.
Objectives of the new division include expanding existing business in the pretzel and extruded corn products markets; cultivating new relationships in complementary markets such as cookies, crackers and pet treats; and forging strategic partnerships with manufacturers of upstream and downstream equipment to provide system solutions for Lanly customers.
