Since 1942, Kim Hotstart has been listening to its customers to help them solve industrial liquid-heating problems.

The company designs and manufactures electric heaters for engines and related applications, such as fuel tanks and hydraulic power units. Kim Hotstart introduced the industry's first threadless immersion heater for hydraulic fluid, diesel-fuel and oil-supply tanks, and storage tanks.

Kim Hotstart's engine-heating products include tank-type, direct-immersion and circulating-coolant heaters, direct-immersion and circulating lube-oil heaters, combination-circulating systems of coolant and lube oil, coolant and diesel fuel, and coolant, lube-oil and diesel-fuel heaters. The company also manufactures a variety of related accessories including battery-pad heaters, coolant and oil thermostats, pre-lube and post-lube pumping systems, extension cords, power receptacles and wiring harnesses, and control boxes and related products.

Kim Hotstart is an international company that supplies electric heaters in any voltage from 12 to 600 VDC, single- or three-phase, or 50 to 60 Hz. The products successfully heat engines from 100 CID to very large engines that use as many as 2,500 gal of oil in the oil pan.

The 80,000 ft2 modern facility in Spokane, Wash., uses the latest technology to design, build and test electric heaters that are shipped worldwide to solve many heating problems.
