Industrial Heating Equipment Association will hold its 13th Safety Standards Seminar on May 5-6, at the O'Hare Marriott, Chicago.

Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA), Arlington, Va., will hold its 13th Safety Standards Seminar on May 5-6, at the O'Hare Marriott, Chicago. The seminar offers attendees an opportunity to better understand the 86 Series standards, published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Quincy, Mass., which apply to all types of industrial ovens and furnaces.

The standards are the most commonly used reference for industrial oven and furnace safety design, used by major insurance carriers and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Washington, and included in local fire codes. The seminar is suggested for anyone involved in the design, manufacture or operation of industrial ovens and furnaces used in all applications of heat processing.
