TMZ PC-programmable Modbus device offers high input resolution and digital measurement accuracy. Unit accepts a direct signal from a range of sensors and analog devices, including RTDs, thermocouples, ohms, millivolt, current, voltage and potentiometers. The unit converts the inputs to the standard Modbus RTU (RS485) protocol ready for direct interface with Modbus-based monitoring and control systems. Up to 32 units (without repeaters) can be multi-dropped onto a single communication link, eliminating the need to run a dedicated wire for each signal.
