Technic Equipment Division, Pawtucket, R.I., purchased selected assets at auction of Radiant Heat Inc., Coventry, R.I., a supplier for more than 40 years of infrared, hot air and contact heaters. Items purchased include customer lists, blueprints and manufacturing equipment. Technic Equipment Division is a former customer of Radiant Heat, where it incorporated the company’s dryers and curing ovens on its equipment lines. The company plans to continue to supply former Radiant Heat customers with spare parts and service.

Technic Equipment Division manufactures equipment primarily for electroplating applications. The company is part of Technic Inc., Cranston, R.I., which has been in business for more than 50 years as an electroplating chemicals and equipment supplier.
