North American manufacturers applying industrial finishes must transform their coating operations to become more efficient and productive, and ultimately more profitable. It's a matter of survival, according to Coating 2005 trade show management.

The industry's leading experts, suppliers and trade associations will hold Coating 2005 September 19 through 22 at the Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis. The thrust of the show is to help attendees remain competitive.

Manufacturers now must produce products that are better, less expensive and more durable than ever before. The Coating show, focused on finishing technologies, gives attendees a place to research and compare today's technologies and meet other industrial finishers facing the same issues. The 68 technical sessions will address everything from the basics of various coating methods to emerging technologies.

This year, there will be no conference sessions on Tuesday afternoon, September 20, to allow six hours of show floor exhibit time without interruptions. Nearly 200 companies will showcase their products and services.
