Rochester, N.Y.-based Ameritherm Inc., a radio frequency induction heating equipment supplier, has acquired substantially all the assets of Cheltenham Induction Heating Ltd., Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. Cheltenham Induction Heating will operate as an autonomous subsidiary under its current name as part of the Ameritherm organization. According to Ameritherm, the investment represents a strategic initiative that expands both companies' applications engineering, service and support capabilities while building upon their combined worldwide sales and marketing resources.
