The Industrial Heating Equipment Association's 34th annual combustion technology seminar is just around the corner. Slated for October 6-7 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Rosemont (Chicago), Ill., the two-day seminar provides attendees an opportunity to learn all facets of the combustion system for industrial ovens and furnaces. A select group of engineers involved in the design and manufacture of combustion equipment comprises the faculty. The seminar is designed for those responsible for the operation, design, selection or maintenance of heat processing industrial furnaces and ovens.

Session topics include the fundamentals of combustion, burners and flame retention, combustion air blowers/fluid flow, air/fuel metering, fuel/ air ratio control, flame safety and sequence control, combustion system safety, enhanced combustion efficiency, oxygen-enriched combustion, process controls, optimizing combustion system performance, heat application, and a round-table discussion on combustion system maintenance.

Immediately following the first day of presentations, representatives from industrial heating equipment suppliers will be present during a reception and table-top exhibit.
