A conference program accompanies the three-day exposition. The conference program offers 66 topics that will inform attendees about manufacturing better products, running more efficient systems and how to survive when times get tough. A bonus session on Monday afternoon, created specifically for custom coaters and job shop employees, will include interactive discussions on topics such as the economic outlook; globalization; major issues that job shops have faced in the past year and solutions that have worked; and diversifying one's business and customer base. An optional dine-around will follow this session, allowing attendees to continue their discussions. This session is open only to those working for a custom coater or job shop, and attendees must preregister.
Exhibits are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. More than 225 exhibiting companies will be showcasing their products (see sidebar for a list of companies that will have heat processing equipment at the show). Attendees can learn how to better utilize their current systems, upgrade their systems, and make comparisons of products and services.
Plant tours are offered on Thursday afternoon following the close of the show. Conference attendees can choose between tours that offer a look at an electrocoat line, a powder coating system, a powder- and liquid-coating system and a plating operation.
