New Brunswick, N.J.-based ABP Induction LLC, and Brookfield, Wis.-based Pillar Induction Co. LLC, have combined operations into ABP Induction LLC. Both companies are owned by CM Acquisitions, a Chicago-based investor. Pillar and ABP have been working together for the past two years since ABP Induction was formed through the acquisitions of ABB’s (Asea Brown Boveri) Foundry Systems Business Unit in November 2005.

The combined organization produces an induction company with nine locations globally and a service network with a comprehensive selection of products and services in the field of induction melting and heating. Product offerings include coreless induction furnaces, induction channel furnaces, holding furnaces and induction heating equipment.
