Infrared Quartz Heaters

RadReflect incorporates a ceramic, reflective coating that offers 95 percent of the reflective efficiency of gold. The reflective coating makes the heaters unidirectional, radiating most of the energy towards the substrate without external reflectors. While gold reflective material must be cooled and cannot be used in a vacuum, the ceramic material can handle higher temperatures than gold reflective. These factors allow the ceramic-reflective-coated quartz lamps to be operated at higher application temperatures while keeping the back of the high-quality quartz tube cool.
