Long-wave or mid-wave configurations let Mikron M7500 image glass, steel, food, furnaces through flame, textiles, paper and many other processes with ±3.6°F (±2°C) temperature accuracy and 320 by 240 resolution. An uncooled microbolometer camera, it is able to image in the mid-wave bands of 3.9 µm (furnaces and boilers through flames) and 4.8 to 5.2 µm (for glass) in a temperature range of 752 to 2,912°F (400 to 1,600°C). For the widest process monitoring flexibility, it has two standard temperature ranges of -40 to 248°F (-40 to 120°C) and 32 to 932°F (0 to 500°C) in 8 to 14 µm long-wave mode.
