Model DT1100 dual temperature uses a microelectromechanical system infrared sensor with advanced optics and low voltage circuitry for fast, consistent temperature measurement. With a temperature measurement range of -76 to 932oF (-60 to 500oC), accuracy of ±2 percent of reading or ±2oC, and high resolution optics, the point-and-shoot thermometer can measure temperatures from a greater distance or smaller objects from the same distance. For infrared measurements, a laser -sighting system helps pinpoint the center of the exact area to be measured. For probe measurements, the unit displays temperatures automatically without using the trigger when the probe is plugged into the built-in socket.
