With more than 55 presentations in 25 different sessions and an expo floor filled with exhibiting companies that provide products and services to industrial finishers, FIN-X ‘07 International Conference and Expo will be held September 17 to 20, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
A finishing demonstration lab where conference attendees can get hands-on experience spraying powder coatings and using the VirtualPaint training system for simulation of liquid finishing will be among the new features launched at the event. Attendees can learn how to reduce production costs, become more energy efficient, gather information about emerging technologies and learn from the experiences of other finishers at any of the presentations from 13 end-users of industrial coatings on the conference program. Other sessions topics include curing, UV curing and troubleshooting finishing processes. Attendees also can speak with industry suppliers on the show floor about the finishing technologies and compare processes in person.
FIN-X ‘07 also will host two charitable events. A Monday Night Football Party will be held in the Indianapolis Colts Touchdown Club on September 17, complete with food, refreshments, raffle prizes and the game on a series of televisions. A 5K RaceWalk for Fun will take place on Wednesday morning, September 19.
Pre-registration for members of the sponsoring associations, including the Chemical Coaters Association, Electrocoat Association, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Porcelain Enamel Institute, and the Infrared Division of the Industrial Heating Equipment Association, costs $450. Nonmember pre-registration for the full conference is $550. A one-day pre-registration conference fee is $200 for members and $225 for nonmembers.
