CPM, an equipment provider for particle size reduction and pelleting, has acquired the U.K.-based Wolverine Proctor & Schwartz Ltd. of Glasgow, Scotland. The company will be combined with CPM’s U.S.-based Wolverine Proctor, which was acquired in July of 2006. Wolverine Proctor and has offices in Horsham, Pa., and Lexington, N.C. All business functions will be integrated to include customer service, engineering and design and aftermarket support for applications and parts.

With both Wolverine Proctor & Schwartz units operating as one unit of Waterloo, Iowa-based CPM, high-value thermal process applications, including baking, drying, roasting, toasting, flaking and shredding, will be available to the food, chemical, tobacco and textile industries.
