A three-day lineup of seminars on infrared and combustion technologies as well as the industrial heating association’s business meeting offer multiple opportunities for attendees to network and learn about cross-cutting technologies. Cincinnati-based Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) will hold its IRED Division’s one-day seminar on Infrared Heating Processes, on November 5, accompanied by the Combustion Seminar on November 5-6, and conclude with the Fall Business Conference on November 7, all at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill.

The basics of infrared, including what it is, how it is produced, and its characteristics will be reviewed during the Infrared Heating Processes Seminar. In addition equipment sources of infrared and infrared applications will be covered.

The Combustion Seminar consists of sixteen sessions that discuss topics such as air-gas premixing, applications, burners, controls, flame supervision, gas flow measurement, metering and NOX. The seminar is tailored for those responsible for the operation, design, selection or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens.

IHEA’s Fall Business Conference on Wednesday, November 7, consists of committee meetings in the morning, followed by an afternoon of business presentations.

Details and registration information for any of these events can be found on www.ihea.org or by calling (513) 231-5613.
