An infrared process heating seminar promises an educational lineup of noncommercialized presentations explaining an introduction to process heating and the basics of infrared, among other topics.

The IRED division of the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) will hold the one-day seminar on Monday, November 5. In addition to a full-day program, attendees will receive IRED's Infrared Process Heating Handbook.

  • An introduction to process heating and the basics of infrared.
  • Reasons to use infrared heating.
  • Common misconceptions about infrared heating.
  • Infrared heating equipment and controls.
  • Common applications.
The IRED division of the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA) will hold the one-day seminar on Monday, November 5. In addition to a full-day program, attendees will receive IRED'sInfrared Process Heating Handbook. A tabletop exhibition and reception following the presentations allows attendees a chance to speak with company representatives and learn more about the products and services discussed in their classroom environment.

Hosted by the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill., the seminar costs $195 for IHEA members and $225 for nonmbembers. The fee includes tuition; one copy of the handbook; access to the reception; and lunch refreshment during breaks. Upon completion of the course, attendees receive a certificate.
