Brady’s Coated Products Division met EPA standards, increased production and reduced energy consumption by replacing old air-pollution control devices with new oxidizer technologies from Anguil Environmental Systems.

The Coated Products Division of Brady Corp., Milwaukee, Wis., has purchased its third oxidizer system from Anguil Environmental Systems, also located in Milwaukee. Brady was already involved in pollution-prevention and emission-reduction programs when the coating facility implemented energy-efficient emission control as a new initiative.

By teaming with Anguil, the division has been able to meet EPA standards, increase production and reduce energy consumption by replacing older air pollution control devices with new oxidizer technologies. The three oxidizer systems are handling more than 105,000 scfm of process air and reaching destruction rates higher than 99 percent.

According to the company, gas usage on Brady’s three coating lines continues to drop at a steady rate.
