Metcar Grade 2500 and 9800 are treated with an inhibitor to provide oxidation resistance without sacrificing the self-lubricating properties. Intended for operating temperatures between 700 and 1,000°F (371 and 538°C), Grade 2500 is suitable for general-purpose high-temperature applications where conventional lubricants would breakdown. Grade 9800 addresses extreme temperature installations between 1,000 and 1,100°F (538 and 593°C) in equipment such as furnaces, dryers, high-temperature conveyors and dampers. The bearings are self-lubricating, non-galling, dimensionally stable and have high compressive strength.
