Four firms have been added to the rolls of Standards Partners at the Hydraulic Institute (HI), Parsippany, N.J. The Standards Partner program allows engineering consultants and pump users to partner with HI members in the development of pump standards and education efforts.

New additions include: Healy Engineering Inc., a Milton, Mass.-based firm involved primarily with large and complex pumping systems that has been active in the design, engineering, installation and troubleshooting of fluid systems for over 35 years; MechTronix Engineering, Elk Grove, Calif., an enterprise providing pump design, development and diagnostic services as well as training; MWH Americas Inc., Broomfield Colo., an international corporation offering professional services to the water/wastewater industry; and Pump Integration Inc., Easton, Pa., a technical services firm with expertise in pumps and systems primarily serving the power and water utility sectors.

They join Mechanical Solutions Inc., Whippany, N.J., the first Standards Partner. The engineering and consulting firm is engaged in the pump compressor and turbine industries performing analysis, testing and troubleshooting services for OEMs and end-users.

Participation in the institute's partner program entitle companies to receive benefits such as copies of all new and revised HI standards, HI reference guides, access to e-learning courses, and inclusion in the group's online consultants Directory.
