In order to meet CQI-9 compliance, all automotive manufacturers must comply with the pyrometry specifications of AMS 2750D. Furnace Tracker Insight Survey software was made to comply with the AMS 2750D specifications, ensuring that it also will meet the required specification of CQI-9 pyrometry. The software guides users through logger setup and creation of thermocouple correction factors that can be saved for future surveys. Overshoot alarms indicate if one or more thermocouples exceeds the setpoint. If using telemetry, three additional alarms can be used to indicate when thermocouples are in tolerance; when stability has been achieved; and when the specified survey time is complete. A full report complying with AMS 2750D is available through the software.
