Attendees of Coating West, the regional finishing show to be held March 2 and 3 in Las Vegas, can now take advantage of a discount offered by the host hotel. Planet Hollywood, the host facility, has lowered its room rate by $30 to $149 per night for Coating West attendees.

Highlights of the two-day event include sessions on:
  • Energy recovery for paint finishing systems.
  • Job shop powder coating.
  • Design and engineering techniques for aircraft paint booths.
  • Advanced powder coating: pretreatment, application, curing, quality control and troubleshooting.
In addition, the Iowa Waste Reduction Center is sponsoring a virtual spray painting competition. Attendees will find an array of products and services for industrial finishers on the exhibit floor.

Attendees who have already reserved rooms at Planet Hollywood through the Coating West housing bureau will automatically have their rate adjusted to $149. All new reservations will be at the group rate of $149.
