Gas Ignition Control
March 9, 2009
Model 35-72P, a one-piece 120 VAC microprocessor-based pilot ignition control, is mercury free. The unit ignites the pilot flame on liquid propane or natural gas heating equipment, providing high-energy sparking, dependable flame sensing and automatic control of the main gas valve. A custom control sequence within the system opens the main gas valve only after the pilot flame is sensed. This allows the unit to replace both the pilot re-igniter and the mercury flame switch. It also is suited for use in specialty applications not requiring gas valve control.
