Management of Anguil Environmental Systems Inc., a family-owned business, will transition to the second generation.

Following his decision to transition leadership of the company he founded to the second generation, Gene Anguil (center) will relinquish the title of president of Anguil Environmental Systems to serve as CEO. Chris Anguil (right) was named president while Deb Anguil was named chief operating officer.

At a party held in August to celebrate the company's 30th year in business, Gene Anguil of Anguil Environmental Systems Inc., a family-owned business, announced that management of the company will transition to the second generation. The founder of one of the largest air pollution control and VOC abatement companies, Gene Anguil has led the company as president since 1978. He will step into the CEO position and hand many of his current responsibilities over to the next generation, namely Chris and Deb Anguil.

Chris Anguil, the present vice president of sales and marketing, will take over as president of the organization. In this capacity, he will be responsible for both the top line, or revenue, and the bottom line, or profit.

Deb Anguil, the current vice president of operations, will become chief operating officer (COO). In this capacity, she will maintain her present responsibility of meeting customer expectations while also focusing on product improvement and overall efficiency within the company to improve profitability.
