Designed to improve cycle times, the multiple-heated platen presses include four separate 30-ton presses individually driven by a single power unit. Each of the four presses has 13 x 14" heated platens with insulation on the bottom and side that are capable of reaching working temperatures to 700°F (371°C). The cells are designed to build pressure on one press while allowing movement of the next press platen for improved cycle times. The presses are controlled by an Allen Bradley 505 programmable controller with an Allen Bradley Panel View 1000 operator interface. The 150-gallon hydraulic reservoir is floor mounted and has spin-on filters.
