Andritz will supply electromechanical equipment with a total value of approximately $444 million as part of the construction of the Ilisu hydropower station in Turkey.
The Graz, Austria-based company will supply six Francis turbines, each with an output of 200 MW; six generators; additional equipment; and engineering services. The delivery time is seven years in total.
Andritz Hydro is part of the delivery consortium led by the Turkish construction company Nurol and which includes other European and Turkish companies. Total costs of the project amount to approximately $1.4 billion.
