Despatch Industries received an order for 13 nitrogen atmosphere cabinet ovens. The ovens will be installed in a Canadian university facility and will be utilized in a large-scale research-and-development project focusing on developments in microchip and microelectronic system (MEMS) assembly.
"For this particular project, the customer had very strict requirements for temperature uniformity, low oxygen content inside the oven and silicone-free construction. Our experience and knowledge in this type of application allowed us to create a custom solution...that achieves their specific performance criteria," says Steve Eul, an application engineer at Despatch.
Series LND nitrogen atmosphere ovens from the Minneapolis-based suppler are utilized in many semiconductor and medical device manufacturing applications. The ovens have horizontal, recirculating airflow for efficient and uniform heating of each load.
