Configurable for applications where devices such as thermocouples and RTDs would be too slow or difficult to use, the infrared temperature sensors measure a target’s temperature without contact. They are suited for high temperature environments and moving targets. Gold Series measure the amount of infrared energy emitted by an object’s surface, then convert this signal into a temperature value between -40 and 4,500°F (-40 and 2,475°C). Each model can be used as a stand-alone transmitter with a choice of inputs, outputs and alarms.
