A combustion workshop hosted and presented by Eclipse Inc. will be held October 19-21 at the company's training facility and headquarters in Rockford, Ill.

The two-and-a-half-day workshop combines classroom training, a small-group design exercise and equipment demonstrations to provide instruction in combustion fundamentals as well as the design, operation and application of industrial combustion equipment. According to Eclipse, instruction is predominantly focused on gas-fired and oxy-fuel equipment.

The workshop agenda is tailored to those who design, specify, operate and maintain combustion heating equipment. Attendees seeking additional information can stay after the workshop to meet with an Eclipse product engineer or technical assistance personnel.

The registration fee is $850 per person and includes the workshop, training materials, lunch each day, one dinner and transportation between the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Rockford and the training site. Overnight accommodations are not included, but Eclipse has negotiated a special rate of $90 per night plus tax at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center.
