Intended for powder coating users with varying levels of experience, from novice to advanced, a workshop series has been developed by powder coating equipment maker ITW Gema and Tiger Drylac Powder Coatings.

With instructors that are experts in the powder coating industry, the intensive two-day course combines “old school” know-how with proven best practices and the latest technology solutions, say the organizers. This workshop will cover topics such as:
  • Powder manufacturing, chemistry and selection.
  • Pretreatment.
  • Equipment selection, application issues and maintenance.
  • Oven and cure issues.
  • Troubleshooting and tricks of the trade.
Four sessions will be held: March 22-23 in Los Angeles; May 17-18 in St. Louis; August 23-24 in East Hartford, Conn.; and October 25-26 in Tampa, Fla.
