Temperature control systems and chillers help maintain stable control at process conditions.

Portable Recirculating Chiller

Series LK-20 portable recirculating chiller has a low-profile design that permits installation in tight spots. Models are suitable for use in OEM and end user applications. Features include a high-efficiency refrigeration system and available all-stainless steel plumbing and cabinets that help ensure compatibility with process fluids and operating environments. Self-contained and tethered controllers provide stability to ± 0.1°C, and constructions are available that are designed specifically for use with third-party temperature system controls.

Recirculating Coolers

Suited for most standard cooling applications, the FL Series includes 22 models that provide 0.3 to 20 kW of cooling capacity with a temperature range of -40 to 104°F (-20 to 40°C). Models can accommodate return line temperatures up to 176°F (80°C) and pump up to 80 l/min at 87 psi. Features include simple operation with RS232 and alarm outputs, intuitive operation, digital interfaces, rapid cooldown times, a small footprint, and ease of maintenance. Water- and air-cooled designs are available, and these capabilities make the recirculating coolers a good substitute for tap water cooling.

Stationary Heat Transfer Fluid Systems
Series HTF ST includes stationary heat transfer fluid systems up to 600 kW and 650°F (343°C). The systems offer energy-efficient performance and reduced space requirements for applications requiring higher heating capacities. They are designed and built to customer specifications and utilize a low-watt density electric heater mounted in a structural steel frame. They are completely prewired and available in single- and multiple-zone configurations with pumping capacities up to 120 gal/min.

Scalable Combined Heating, Cooling System
Utilizing a combination of its 10-, 15-, 20-, 30-, 50-, 70- and 85-ton Dedicated Heat Recovery Chillers (DHRC), the company can create systems from 20 to 600 tons that produce simultaneous cooling and heating. Reversing valves are not used in the modules, and the engineering design is based on a single refrigerant lift and counterflow in the heat exchangers for maximum energy efficiencies. Model VME II is packaged as a four-pipe heat pump system.

Environmentally Friendly Portable Chilling
Series GP offer R410a refrigerant, designed to meet the latest regulatory requirements. An electronic modulating capacity control maintains leaving fluid temperature to within 0.1° F, and electronic sensors with digital readout include leaving and entering fluid temperatures; compressor suction pressure; compressor discharge pressure; condenser inlet temperature; superheat, sub-cool; pump pressure and tank level. Monitoring the conditions of the chiller provides adaptive control, where the operator can adjust the operation of certain components when the chiller approaches an alarm condition in an effort to keep the chiller running with minimal to no downtime. Optional web access allows a technician to diagnose alarms and see real-time data remotely.
