Canada Certifies Flushing Fluid
Flushing fluid is intended for use during startup and
general maintenance of heat transfer fluid systems. The FF-1 from MultiTherm
Corp., Malvern, Pa., can be used in heat transfer fluid applications to remove
loose material (weld splatter, fines, particulate matter, etc.) left in lines
and equipment along with oil and some preservative coatings. Rated HT1 for
incidental contact in food applications by NSF, the flushing fluid is now food
certified in Canada.
Flushing fluid also is useful for general maintenance for removing particulate matter and used heat transfer fluid from a system prior to recharge or changeover from one fluid to another. FF-1 is compatible with all of the company’s heat transfer fluids and as well as most other manufacturers’ fluids.
