Understanding the new NFPA 56 requirements for industrial plants and power generation facilities is the focus of a three-part webinar series from CEC Combustion Safety, Cleveland.

The first webinar, planned for November 15 at 2 p.m. EST, will introduce NFPA 56 and review chapters 1 through 5 of the standard. Key elements from each chapter will be highlighted with member of the NFPA 56 standard committee, and a representative from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board that will provide key insights.

The second webinar, planned for November 22 at 2 p.m. EST, will review chapters 6 though 10 of the standard and look at cleaning, purging into and out of service, and the standard’s appendices.

The third webinar, planned for November 29 at 2 p.m. EST, will cover real-life solutions and user implementation input. Topics may include the structure of compliance programs within single site entities and large global organizations, key program elements put into place at manufacturing locations, and utility industries including training, procedures, checklist systems for hazard reviews, and gap analysis of processes.
