More than a century old, thermal technology company Despatch Industries continues to find recognition.

Minneapolis-based Despatch has received the Twin Cities Business 2011 Smart Solutions Award, which acknowledges privately held Minnesota companies for their innovation and ingenuity in finding ways to continue to grow their business in economically uncertain times.

Just five of 500 companies surveyed received the award and were included in a special feature in theTwin Cities Businessjournal.
