Spirax Sarco, Blythewood, S.C., has rebranded its MassTracker insertion turbine flow meter to the RIM10 rotor insertion flow meter.

“As we continue to expand into new markets, we wanted a name that is easily recognizable around the world,” says John Thompson, marketing product manager. “What matters most is that the RIM10 will be exactly the same as the MassTracker,” with the only difference being the name.

The RIM10 combines measurements of mass or volumetric flow, density, temperature and pressure in one instrument. Typical applications include flow monitoring of steam and natural gas for fiscal or load control; combustion air; flue gas for environmental compliance; heat content calculations for chilled water; and measurement of a variety of other liquids in line sizes from 3 to 80".
