Horizon Milling plans to upgrade its Saginaw, Texas,
flour-milling facility - the largest flour mill in Texas - to enhance
efficiencies and capabilities.
The project includes the replacement of
two existing hard-wheat milling units with two new units to be housed in a new
processing building. The plant will include updated automation and process
controls. To make room for the addition, there will be some demolition and
relocation of existing structures.
“This will be the largest facility
project in Horizon Milling history to date,” says Dan Dye, president of the
Minneapolis-based mill.
