In a ceremony held in Middleton, Wis., Waukesha-based Hydro-Thermal Corp. was named grand award winner of the Wisconsin’s 2012 Family Business of the Year in the medium sized company category. The distinguished award was created and is sponsored by Smith & Gesteland, LLP, a Madison-based CPA and business consulting firm, to highlight the accomplishments and contributions of family businesses that make an impact on the Wisconsin economy.
Hydro-Thermal was nominated by Corey Tremaine of Milwaukee’s Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, a full service accounting and advisory firm. Tremaine has been a business partner of Hydro-Thermal’s for several years and was in attendance at the ceremony.
Hydro-Thermal designs and manufacturers direct steam injection devices that often replace heat exchangers and sparge systems. Jim Zaiser, Hydro-Thermal’s president, accepted the award on behalf of his father, Gary Zaiser, the company’s CEO. In his acceptance, Zaiser noted that “this award also belongs to the entire Hydro-Thermal family and every employee who does their best everyday to deliver a great product to our customers.”
