Polar Express Transportation’s expanded temperature-controlled facility opened on October 29 in Langley, B.C., offering additional warehousing and scheduled delivery services into and throughout the United States and Canada.

Since joining up with Kool Pak° in January, Polar Express has experienced growth in demand for its transportation services. With the expansion, the cold storage facility offers nearly 300,000 ft3 of frozen, chilled and dry product warehousing.

Kool Pak° and Polar Express provide services for transportation, storage and delivery of temperature-controlled less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments. The combined transportation and warehousing services ensure that temperature-sensitive products are maintained at the proper temperature through the cold chain, from pickup, to storage and delivery at destination. Polar Express has storage capacity of up to 1,000 pallets for frozen, chilled and dry product.

In addition to Langley, B.C., Kool Pak° has temperature-controlled facilities in Washington State, Oregon and southern California. The companies offer transcontinental LTL services out of Ontario, Calif., to Texas, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York in addition to seven western states and Canada.
